المستخلص: فقد قامت هذه الدراسة على اختيار تراكيب متميزة انفردت بها عوامل لفظية وأخرى معنوية، وقد كانت هذه العوامل غير مشتقة من لفظ الفعل ولم تكن من حروفه، بل كانت كلها دون حرف الفعل. لتكون صفوة مختارة من العوامل التي عملت عمل الفعل رغم أنها دون حروفه وقد ترتب في السماع اختصاصها بالدخول على الأسماء كما هو حال الفعل وتأثيرها الرفع والنصب على حد عمل الفعل لهما مما كان يلزم معه استقصاء هذه العوامل وتحليل تراكيبها وإبراز خصائصها التي جعلتها في حالة انفراده عن غيرها متميزة باستقلالية تنبئ عن إبداع العرب. وقد اجتهد النحاة في دراسة هذه العوامل من جهة كيفية قيامها بدور الفعل فوجدوا أن بعضها ضمن معنى الفعل فعمل عمله، نحو: إعمال اسم الإشارة النصب في الحال على معنى أشير أو أنبه، وإعمال «إلا» في المستثنى التام على معنى استثنى، وإعمال «حروف النداء» على معنى أنادي أو أدعو، وإعمال «إن» وأخواتها على معنى أأكد أو استدرك أو أترجى أو أتمنى أو أشبه. والبعض الاخر يعمل على إلحاقه بالفعل في معنى النفي سواء أكان بحمل النظير على النظير نحو إعمال «ما» النافية عمل «ليس» بمشابهة كل منهما الأخرى في النفي أم كان العمل بحمل النقيض على النقيض كما في إعمال «لا» النافية للجنس عمل «إن» وربما بحمل الشبيه على الشبيه كإعمال «لا» النافية عمل «ليس» لأنها أشبهت «ما» العاملة عمل ليس كذلك إعمال «لات». وربما كان العمل لأنها أشبهت الفعل في التمام بفاعله فاستحقت بعد التمام أن تنصب ما بعدها كما هو حال المفعول بعد تمام الفعل بفاعله، وقد كان من ذلك «الاسم التام» في باب تمييز المفرد، وما ينتصب عن التمام من كل تمييز بعد الاسم المنون في حال المفرد، أو بعد النون في حال التثنية والجمع من نحو: عشرون، ومنوان، وراقود خلا، وسواء أكان التنوين ظاهر كما مثل أم كان مقدرا نحو الحزمة المتوسطة من العدد، أي العدد المركب وكنايات العدد من نحو «كم»، و«كذا» أو حتى كان التنوين ظاهرا أيضا كما في «كأين». وربما كان عمل بعضها يرجع إلى ترددها بين الاسمية، والفعلية، وقد كانت نائبة عن أفعالها في المعنى والدلالة كما في «أسماء الأفعال»، والبعض الاخر يرجع عمله إلى حمله على معنى فعل مقدر كما في «واو» المفعول معه. ولذلك كان البحث ثري باختلاف العلماء حول الإقرار لهذه العوامل بالعمل بنفسها أم العمل تم بغيرها وما هي إلا واسطة بين العامل والمعمول، وما ظهر من خلال البحث من استشهاد بالسماع والقياس والإجماع لأصول النحو العربي والذي كان من خلاله القول الفصل في رؤية الباحث وسط هذه الظواهر اللفظية الفاعلة، بجانب أخرى لم تكن بلفظية، ولم تكن بمنطوقة باللسان، تتمثل في ظاهرة «الابتداء» و«المخالفة» وهي معاني تصبح في بعض الأساليب أداة فاعلة «للرفع» في الجملة الاسمية، والجملة الظرفية، من مبتدأ وخبر، وفاعله «للنصب» في الظرف كما ظهر عند الكوفيين «بالمخالفة»، مما كان يلزم للباحث من أن يدلو بدلوه وسط هذه الظواهر ورؤية العلماء وإبراز رؤية الباحث.
