تأتي أهمية هذا البحث من الموضوع الحيوي الذي تناقشه عن السياسات اللغوية وأثرها في عملية التعليم حيث إن السياسات اللغوية هي الموجه لكل عملية تعليمية في بلد ما، والتوجه الذي تبنى عليه مناهج التعليم في ذلك البلد، والأساس الذي يفصح عن توجهات الدول ورغبات الحكومات التي تسعى إلى تنشئة شعوبها على المعارف والمهارات والقيم التي تؤمن بها. والسياسة اللغوية هي سياسة مجتمع ما تمثل مجموع المواقف الرسمية، والقرارات العامة، التي تنعكس في التخطيط لهذه السياسة وتنفيذها داخل الجماعة لتوجيه التطور في لغتها. ويشترط في هذا التخطيط مراعاة حقوق المجتمع اللغوي داخل البيئة الواحدة. إن هدف السياسة اللغوية هدف تنموي مستقبلي، يعمل في اللغات الحية الوطنية والقومية لجعلها وافية بمتطلبات الحياة المعاصرة وذات سيادة في مجالات الإدارة والقانون والتعليم والثقافة. كما جاء في التقديم ل (مشروع أوربا الغنية بلغاتها) الذي لم تلتفت إليه الدراسات العربية وتأخذ من هذه التجربة الأوروبية الجديرة بالاحترام، وأتمنى من خلال هذا المبحث أن أكون قد أضفت نموذجا يحتذى به لسياسة لغوية موحدة للوطن العربي تحقق الأمن للعربية فهي تحتاجه كحاجتها إلى الأمن الاقتصادي والأمن السياسي والأمن الغذائي، وقد توافرت الوسائل التي لو أحسن استعمالها بوعي وحرص على مستقبل الأمة العربية لأمكننا أن نحصل على النتائج المرجوة من خلال تقدير الأحداث ونتائجها.
The importance of this research derived from its vital subject about linguistic polices and its impact on education process whereas linguistic polices are the guide of any educational process in any country, and the trend upon which the educational curricula are prepared in that country, also the basis that reveals countries tends and Governments desires in its seeking to bring up their people on the knowledge, skills and values which believe in. Language policy is a society policy, it represents the whole official positions and public decisions, which are reflected in planning and implementation of this policy within the Community to guide developments of its language, provided that this planning should consider the rights of the linguistic community within the same environment. The aim of the language policy is a future development goal, to make the national language meets the requirements of modern life and be effective in the fields of administration, law, education and culture, as that comes presentation of " Europe is rich with its languages project", which has not been studied sufficiently by Arab researches to derive lessons from this respectable European experience. I hope that I have set a model for a unified language policy for the Arab Nation through this research that provides security for the Arabic language whereas it needs to it, same like as economic security, political security and food security. We have the means that, if used wisely and keenly on the future of this nation, we can achieve the desired results, to alleviate the despair that affects our young people, which we may sometimes cause as a result of considering events.
