|a يتناول هذا البحث بإيجاز بداية علاقة اليابان بالحركة الصهيونية واليهود قبل وبعد الحربين العالميتين الأولى والثانية، مع إلقاء الضوء على علاقات اليابان باليهود بعد قيام إسرائيل. يناقش البحث بعد ذلك الصور النمطية لليهود في كتابات الباحثين اليابانيين مثل البروفسر يوزو إيتاغاكي Itagaki Yuzo والصحافي ريوإتشي هيروكاواHirokawa Ryuichi ، وهما يتعرضان دائما للنقد من الباحثين الإسرائيليين والأمريكيين، كما يناقش البحث أيضا آراء اليابانيين المؤيدين للحركة الصهيونية وإسرائيل ومن هؤلاء البروفسر ماسانوري ميازاوا Miyazawa Masanori الذي كتب عن اليهود في الفكر الياباني. وأخيرا يلقي البحث بالضوء على محاولات إسرائيل تغيير الصورة النمطية لليهود في اليابان وذلك بإصدار كتب يابانية تحاول الربط بين الثقافة اليابانية والتراث الياباني والثقافة اليهودية والتراث اليهودي.

|b This research briefly discusses the beginning of Japan's relationship with the Zionist movement and the Jews before and after the First and Second World Wars, while shedding light on Japan's relations with the Jews after the establishment of Israel. The research then discusses the stereotypical images of the Jews in the writings of Japanese researchers such as Professor Itagaki Yuzo and journalist Hirokawa Ryuichi who are always criticized by Israeli and American researchers. The research also discusses the views of Japanese supporters of the Zionist movement and Israel, including Professor Miyazawa Masanori, who wrote about "Jews in Japanese mind". Finally, the research sheds light on Israel's attempts to change the stereotype of Jews in Japan by issuing Japanese books that try to link Japanese culture and Japanese heritage with Jewish culture and Jewish heritage.
