الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلاة والسلام على رسوله الأمين، وأشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، وأشهد أن محمداً عبده ورسوله.. وبعد.. فإن الحديث عن القواعد والأصول التي أقرها علماء الحديث من أجل الحفاظ على (حديث نبيهم) من الدس والتحريف والتزييف، وقف عندها من تسول له نفسه بالطعن والتشكيك متعجباً ومجلاً للجهود العظيمة لهؤلاء الأئمة الأعلام، وهذا اعتراف منهم بما قدم هؤلاء (رحمهم الله تعالى) من جهد كبير فاق كل تصوراتهم وتوقعاتهم، إذ أنهم وجدوا قلاعاً وحصوناً منيعة حالت دون تطبيق مشروعهم الخبيث الذي يرمي إلى الطعن والتشكيل في السنة النبوية المطهرة، إذ حاولوا الطعن برواة ونقلة الحديث كابراً عن كابر، ولكن الله سبحانه قيض لهؤلاء أسوداً اجتمعوا حول عرين السنة من أجل الحفاظ على أحاديث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يذبون ويدافعون عنه. في هذا البحث أسلط الضوء على مسائل مهمة تتعلق بالقواعد التي وضعها علماء الحديث، وذلك للحفاظ على تراث النبوة. وقد عملت في هذا البحث على إيضاح منهج النقاد من أهل الحديث المتقدمين، ولاسيما في تصحيح الأحاديث وتعليلها وبيان القوى منها والضعف على قدر ما وسع لي وعلى قدر ما اجتهدت في جميع كلامهم، حتى يتضح لنا الأمر بصورة جلية لا لبس فيها، كما أني ذكرت الكثير من القواعد التي تتعلق بعلم الصناعة الحديثية، على الرغم من أنها تحتاج إلى كثير من التفصيل والتحرير ولكن النقص طبيعة البشر فاكتفيت – في بعض الأحيان، بالإشارة إليها. واهتممت في بعض قضايا المصطلح المهمة التي نحتاجها في تصحيح الأحاديث، كمسألة الجهالة، إذ بينت فيها مذهب المتقدمين في الجهالة مع ذكر سبب الجهالة، ثم أقرنت بالتوثيق أو التخريج في أحيان أخرى مع ذكر الأمثلة على ذلك. لهذا قمت بإنشاء قواعد مهمة من خلالها شرعت بتناول كل ما يتعلق بما ذكرت آنفاً: القاعدة الأولى: أهمية الإسناد. القاعدة الثانية: ثبوت الاتصال. القاعدة الثالثة: علم الجرح والتعديل. القاعدة الرابعة: في صيانة الصحابة الكرام من الخطأ والزلل رضي الله عنهم. القاعدة الخامسة: المجهول.
