المستخلص: We will focus on the question of the exercise of parenting in the context of violence and ill-being. What are the child’s needs evolve in this climate ? Their needs are often relegated to the background by parents with other priorities and other emergencies. Ultimately, we will try to answer the question: how does conjugal violence affect the exercise of parenthood? Throughout our clinical work about women victims of conjugal violence, they spoke little about their children and gave information only when the father was assaulting them. In first, we approached the children of violent fathers and we present the interview analyzes and we also presented the results of surveys on the effects on children of violence against women. Through this contribution, we want to draw attention on the imperative approach and to focus on the issue of children exposed to conjugal violence.

Notre contribution se propose d’aborder la question de l’exercice de la parentalité dans le contexte de la violence familiale et conjugale. Quels sont les besoins de l’enfant exposé à ce type de violences et comment évolue-t-il dans ce climat pathogène ? Ses besoins sont souvent relégués au second plan par des parents ayant d’autres priorités et d’autres urgences. En menant des entretiens cliniques auprès de ces enfants, nous tenterons de répondre à la question suivante : comment la violence familiale et en particulier familiale, affecte l’exercice de la parentalité ? Et comment les enfants élevés dans ce milieu anxiogène en sont affectés ? Tout au long de notre travail clinique sur les femmes victimes de violences conjugales, elles parlaient peu de leurs enfants et ne donnaient des informations que lorsque leur père les agressait. A travers cet article, nous voulons attirer l’attention des intervenants sur le devenir de ces enfants et leur nécessaire prise en charge clinique.
