Algeria has adopted the BMD system since year 2015 which is based on a new academic culture so as to connect universities to the professional domain, and for the constructive connection between research and training. Algerian universities integrated reform being aware of the necessity of adapting to the new global standards of this field. The implementation of this system in Algeria is what matters the most; notably the way it is run on the field. This paper presents the conclusions drawn from a study conducted in Bejaia-Algeria utilizing the “snow ball” as a research instrument among a sample of twenty (20) university teachers. These participants were invited to a semi-structured interview and were even offered an entire freedom to answer. Results concerning the employment of the BMD system show a big gap between the qualified discourse and the real world.
Le nouveau système LMD qu’a adopté l’Algérie en 2005, se fonde sur une nouvelle culture académique, ayant comme principaux objectifs : de créer d’une part, des liens entre l’université et le marché du travail, et de permettre d’autre part, une bonne mobilité entre la recherche et la formation. Du coup, l’université Algérienne est dans l’obligation de se reformer et se réadapter aux nouvelles données que lui impose désormais la mondialisation. Ce qui est important, c’est L’application de ce système en Algérie qui nous interpelle à plus d’un titre, notamment sur la manière dont il est géré sur le terrain. Cet article nous présente les conclusions d’une étude réalisée en Algérie -wilaya de Bejaia-, auprès d’un échantillon «boule de neige» constitué d’une vingtaine (20) d’enseignants universitaires. On va présenter nos résultats concernant l’application du système LMD, dont on atteste le décalage entre le discoure qualifié sur la réforme, et la réalité du terrain.
