The study aimed at the definition of Islamic values and their relation to the Arabic poetry in the Age of the early period of Islam. In addition to, highlight the role of poetry in that period in the service of the Islamic da'wa (missionary activity) and advocacy of truth, and the consolidation of Islamic values and instilled in the soul. The study used the descriptive method. The study has reached a number of results, most notably: that Arabs were known before Islam with a huge balance of good moral values, which qualified them to carry the Islam's message, and endorsed by Islam and worked to consolidate in the behavior of Muslims after the refined it, and make it in the service of religion and truth. The moral values embodied in the Arabic poetry in the Age of the early period of Islam. Stem from the confidence of the individual Muslim faith, and faith in greatness and perfection, and certainty of the validity of the ethics and values the great intention of Muslims' adherence to these moral values is to follow the path to Allah in order to win the pleasure of Allah and enter Paradise. In addition to that the poets in the poems in the Age of the early period of Islam reveal that they have the ability of a very poetic statement led its message in the quality and mastery; service to the Islamic da'wa, published its principles, and spread its moral honors, and worked to promote the Islamic spirit, including the characteristics and moral exploits, and glorified by Noble attitudes towards the pride of Islam and lying about its menstruation.
استهدفت الدراسة التعريف بالقيم الإسلامية وعلاقتها بالشعر العربي في صدر الإسلام. وإبراز دور الشعر في تلك الفترة في خدمة الدعوة الإسلامية ومناصرة الحق، وترسيخ القيم الإسلامية وغرسها في النفوس. وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج، أبرزها: أن العرب عرفت قبل الإسلام برصيد ضخم من القيم الأخلاقية الحميدة، التي أهلتهم لحمل الرسالة، وقد أقرها الإسلام وعمل على ترسيخها في سلوك المسلمين بعد أن هذبها، وجعلها في خدمة الدين والحق. كما أن القيم الخلقية التي تضمنها الشعر العربي في صدر الإسلام، نابعة من ثقة الفرد المسلم بدينه القويم، وإيمانه بعظمته وكماله، ويقينه بصحة ما جاء به من آداب وقيم. وإن الغاية الكبرى من تحلي المسلمون بتلك القيم الخلقية، هو سلوك الطريق إلى الله بغية الفوز برضوان الله ودخول الجنة. بالإضافة إلى أن أشعار الشعراء في صدر الإسلام تكشف أنهم أصحاب قدرة شعرية فائقة البيان أدت رسالتها في جودة وإتقان؛ خدمة للدعوة الإسلامية، فنشرت مبادئها، وذاعت مكارمها الأخلاقية، وعملت على النهوض بالروح الإسلامي، بما نوهت به من سمات ومآثر أخلاقية، وبما مجدت به من مواقف نبيلة في سبيل عزة الإسلام والذب عن حياضه.
