يهدف البحث إلى: - التعرف على مستوى اداء حكام كرة الطائرة - التعرف على مستوى الاتزان الانفعالي لحكام كرة الطائرة. - التعرف على العلاقة بين أداء الحكام في الدورات التحكيمية ومستوى الاتزان الانفعالي لحكام كرة الطائرة أما فروض البحث فكانت: - توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى أداء حكام كرة الطائرة - توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى الاتزان الانفعالي لحكام كرة الطائرة. - توجد علاقة الارتباط دالة إحصائيا في مستوى الات ا زن الانفعالي وبين أداء حكام كرة الطائرة في الدورات التحكيمية. واستخدام الباحث المنهج الوصفي لملائمة طبيعة مشكلة البحث وتالف مجتمع البحث من حكام الدرجة الثالثة في محافظة بغداد العاملين والمعتمدين لدى الاتحاد العراقي المركزي لكرة الطائرة والمشاركين في الدورة التحكيمية بكرة الطائرة التي أقيمت بكلية التربية الرياضية للبنات/ جامعة بغداد والبالغ عددهم (28 حكما) يمثلون مجتمع البحث بأجمعه، حيث تم اختيار العينة بالطريقة العمدية أما عينة البحث فتألفت من (24) حكما من فئة الدرجة الثالثة أما (4) الآخرون فتم استخدامهم للتجربة الاستطلاعية. وبعد اطلاع الباحث على الأدبيات والدراسات السابقة ذات الصلة بموضوع الاتزان الانفعالي وجد من الأفضل استخدام مقياس (المسعودي، 2002) لأنه طبق على نفس البيئة العراقية والذي يتكون من (70) فقرة، يجاب عنها باختيار بديل من أحد البدائل الخمسة (تنطبق عليه كثيرا جداً، تنطبق على كثيراً، تنطبق على بدرجة متوسطة، تنطبق على قليلا، لا ينطبق على) تعطي الدرجة (5) لاختيار البديل الأول و (4) للبديل الثاني و (3) للبديل الثالث و (2) للبديل الثاني و (1) للبديل الأول في حالة الفقرات الإيجابية والعكس من ذلك في حالة الفقرات السلبية. ولغرض التحقق من صلاحية فقرات مقياس الاتزان الانفعالي، عرضت على مجموعة من الخبراء ذوي الاختصاص في علم النفس وكرة الطائرة. وقام الباحث بإجراء التجربة الاستطلاعية على عينة من الحكام المشاركين بالدورة التحكيمية وهم من مجتمع البحث نفسه وتم اختيار هذه العينة عشوائيا تألفت من (4) حكام من خارج عينة البحث الأساسية كما سعى الباحث إلى اعتماد الأسس العلمية في عملية تقنين الاختبارات على الرغم من كونها اختبارات مقننة بحسب المصادر العلمية وذلك لغرض تحديد مدى علمية هذه الاختبارات المختارة. وتم إجراء التجربة الرئيسية وتوزيع الاستبانة الخاصة بالمقياس واستخدم الباحث الوسائل الإحصائية من الحقيبة الإحصائية SPSS وتم عرض وتحليل النتائج بحسب أهداف البحث ومناقشتها واستنتج الباحث ما يلي: - ساهمت الدورة التحكيمية في تطور الأداء لدى حكام كرة الطائرة. - ساهمت الدورة التحكيمية في نمو الاتزان الانفعالي لدى حكام كرة الطائرة. - ظهرت علاقة ارتباط دالة احصائياً بين أداء الحكام في الدورة التحكيمية وبين نمو الاتزان وأوصى الباحث بمجموعة من التوصيات منها: - إقامة الدورات بشكل مستمر التي تعم بالفائدة الجيدة على مستوى التحكيم - إشراك الحكام في الدورات التحكيمية الدولية سواء حكام درجة أولى أو ثانية أو ثالثة. - تزويد الحكام بالتعليمات والقرارات والتعديلات الجديدة التي تصدر من الاتحاد الدولي من أجل تطوير معلوماتهم وزيادة خبرتهم وتطابق الآراء في اتخاذ القرارات.
