المستخلص: Sur la base des données d’une enquête de terrain, réalisée en 2017 à Alger, nous proposons dans la présente contribution une analyse de la crise du système d’enseignement supérieur en Algérie. Nous l’avons traitée à travers la vision et les convictions des étudiants en tant que partie concernée par cette question. Nous avons essayé de mesurer leur conscience quant à ce qu’ils pensent être les raisons qui ont amené les universités algériennes à être classées à la dernière place dans le classement des universités. Nous avons également essayé de cerner les obstacles qui empêchent les universités algériennes de progresser vers la production de connaissances scientifiques de haut niveau et la formation de cadres compétents capables de diriger l'économie nationale. Le choix des étudiants comme population d’enquête est motivé par le fait qu’ils sont directement concernés par les déséquilibres fonctionnels du système universitaire, et de ce fait, bien placés pour témoigner du faible niveau scientifique, culturel et même moral du système d'enseignement supérieur en Algérie.

استنادا إلى المعطيات والحقائق المدونة في دراسة ميدانية أجريت بالجزائر العاصمة سنة 2017، نهدف في هذا المقال إلى المساهمة في التفكير حول وضعية التعليم العالي في الجزائر من خلال تحليل آراء ورؤى وقناعات الطلبة حول الأزمة الحالية لهذا القطاع وقياس مدى إدراكهم ووعيهم بالأسباب التي أدت إلى احتلال الجامعات الجزائرية لذيل الترتيب في سلم تصنيف الجامعات العالمية. وقد حاولنا رصد الحواجز التي تقف عائقا أمام إنتاج الجامعات الجزائرية للمعرفة الموضوعية وتكوين الإطارات اللازمة لقيادة الاقتصاد الوطني. واخترنا الطلبة لتناول هذه الجوانب لكونهم شريحة اجتماعية تعايش الواقع اليومي للاختلالات الوظيفية للنسق الجامعي، ولأنهم أفضل شاهد على تدني المستوى العلمي والثقافي وحتى الأخلاقي لمنظومة التعليم العالي في الجزائر.

On the basis of a field survey’ data conducted in 2017 in Algiers, we propose to contribute in this article to the analysis of the crisis of the higher education system in Algeria. We will deal wif this crisis through the analysis of the vision and beliefs of the students as a party concerned by this issue. We has tried to measure their awareness of the reasons that led Algerian universities to be last ranked in the classification of universities. We has also tried to identify the obstacles that prevent Algerian universities from progressing towards the production of high-level scientific noledge and the training of competent executives capable of leading the national economy. Our choice of students, as survey population is motivated by the fact that they constitute a category implicated in the daily reality of the functional imbalances of the university system, and thus present themselves as a better witness of the weakness of the scientific, cultural, and even moral level of the higher educational system in Algeria.
