520 |d Il ne fait aucun doute que la morphologie a fait l'objet de nombreuses recherches et études de la part de spécialistes de l'Andalousie et du Maroc, qui ont passé beaucoup de temps à étudier chaque détail et à le classer en volumes. Ibn 'Assfour Al Ishbili est l’un des érudits qui s’est beaucoup investi dans le domaine de la morphologie. C’est ce que montre clairement son livre "Al-Mumti Fi Altasrif", où il a passé en revue ses questions sur la morphologie, citant des explications, des arguments et des preuves. Son livre était d'une grande importance, ce qui a impressionné d'autres scientifiques, dont Abu Hayyan, qui l'a résumé et résumé dans un livre intitulé (Almubdie). Cette étude a été réalisée pour montrer les efforts de morphologie d'Ibn 'Assfour à travers sa méthode dans ce type de science, il a également montré un certain nombre de problèmes qui le distinguaient des autres érudits. 
520 |a لا شك أن علم الصرف قد نال نصيبه الوافر من البحث والدراسة على يد علماء الأندلس والمغرب، وأفاضوا فيه وتناولوا كل دقيقة تخصه، وصنفوا لذلك المصنفات، ومن العلماء الأجلاء الذين كانت لهم جهود كبيرة في ميدان علم الصرف ابن عصفور الإشبيلي، ويظهر ذلك جليا من خلال كتابه الممتع في التصريف حيث استعرض فيه مسائله الصرفية مستدلا لها بالتعليل والحجج والأدلة، وكان من كتابه ذات الأهمية البالغة الذي أعجب به لاحقيه من العلماء، ومنهم أبو حيان فعلق عليه ثم لخصه في كتاب سماه (المبدع)، وجاءت هذه الدراسة لتقف على جهود ابن عصفور في علم الصرف، من خلال بيان منهاجه في هذا النوع من العلم، وعرض بعض المسائل التي انفرد فيها عن غيره من العلماء.
