|a عند الشروع في تصميم منزل أسري لأي أسرة، يفترض أن يكون تأمين الوظيفة المطلوبة من الفضاء هو أول أولوية من أسس التصميم الأساسية التي يتم وضعها في البداية، ومن خلالها يتحقق أعلى نسبة من الجمالية للشكل العام للمكان، ولكن؛ هناك جانب آخر قد يكون غير واضح بالقدر الكافي لابد من أن يتم الاهتمام بإجراء الدراسة والبحث حوله بشكل أكثر اهتماماً، ألا وهو الثقافة المجتمعية للبيئة المحيطة التي يتبعها سكان هذا المنزل، وهذا الجانب يتباين ويتفاوت من مجتمع لآخر، ومن شعب لآخر، ومن مدينة لأخرى، ومن حي لآخر أيضاً، ومن هنا تأتت أهمية دراسة أثر الثقافة المجتمعية ودورها باختلاف العادات والتقاليد التي تشملها على التصميمات الداخلية للمنزل الأسري في أي بيئة مجتمعية، وقد اهتم الباحث بدراسة هذا الجانب في هذا البحث لتحديد هل من الصحيح تجاهل هذا الجانب عند الشروع في تصميم منزل سكني لأسرٍة ما؟ أ أن شرط الاهتمام بهذا الجانب هو من أسس إنجاح التصميم الداخلي للمنزل الأسري في أي ببيئة مجتمعية؟
