المستخلص: هدف هذا البحث إلى توضيح طبيعة الفساد بشكل عام وتوضيح طبيعة الفساد السياسي وأسبابه وآثاره وصوره وسبل الحد منه؛ ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم الرجوع إلى المصادر والمراجع التي لها علاقة بالبحث، ومحاولة جمع ما تفرق في بطون الكتب، واستقراء ذلك وتحليله وتقسيمه.
وقد تم تقسيم البحث إلى مقدمة وثلاثة مباحث. ففي المقدمة: تناولت فيها أسباب اختيار الموضوع، وهدف البحث، والمنهج المتبع فيه، وهيكله. المبحث التمهيدي: تناولت فيه الفساد وأنواعه ومظاهره وآثاره وأسبابه وسبل محاربته. المبحث الأول: مفهوم الفساد السياسي ومخاطره وأسبابه. المبحث الثاني: آثار الفساد السياسي وصوره وسبل الحد منه.
وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج. أهمها:
1- الفساد هو خروج الشيء عن الاعتدال، أو هو العدول عن الاستقامة إِلى ضدها.
2- من مظاهر الفساد: الرشوة والمحسوبية والمحاباة والوساطة ونهب المال العام والإنفاق الغير قانوني له.
3- الفساد السياسي: هو فساد الساسة والحكام ورجال الأحزاب السياسية وأعضاء الحكومة وأعضاء والمشتغلون بالعمل السياسي.
4- من آثار الفساد السياسي: الطغيان والاستبداد وتراجع دور الشعب ومشاركته في الشؤون العامة، وضعف شرعية النظام السياسي.
5- من صور الفساد السياسي: فساد القمة والفساد المؤسسي والفساد الحزبي والانتخابي.


The study aims to clarify the nature of corruption in general and the nature of political corruption, its causes, effects, forms, and ways to reduce it. The study referred to the sources and references that are relevant to this study and attempted to collect what lies in the books, to extrapolate, analyze, and divide it. The research was divided into an introduction and three chapters. The introduction addressed the reasons for choosing the topic, the research purpose, the followed approach, and its structure.
The Preliminary chapter deals with corruption, its types and manifestations, effects and causes, and ways to combat it. The first chapter discusses the concept of political corruption, its dangers, and causes, while the second chapter deals with the effects of political corruption, its forms, and ways to reduce it.
The research has led to a number of findings, including:
1. Corruption is the departure of something from moderation, or it is the abandonment of integrity or acting against it.
2. The manifestations of corruption include bribery, favoritism, nepotism, mediation, looting of public money, and illegal spending.
3. Political corruption is the corruption done by politicians, rulers, members of the political party, government officials, and political workers.
4. The consequences of political corruption include tyranny, autocracy, declining people's role and their participation in public affairs, and weak legitimacy of the political system.
5. Political corruption forms include corruption of top-level (rulers), institutional corruption, party, and electoral corruption.
