كانت روعة القرآن الكريم وسحر بيانه تستولي على القلوب والعقول، وقد كان الذوق العربي السليم يساعد على إدراك هذه الأساليب القرآنية، فالفطرة الأعرابية كانت تتشوف إلى ذلك الجديد بعد إن تعلمت ما كانت تجود به أسواقهم الشعرية والأدبية، تعزز هذا المبدأ بان صارت قداسة القرآن متمكنة متغلغلة في نفوس المسلمين بالنظر إلى ما وجدوا في الآيات من الأحكام والتشريعات والتوجيهات التي أعادت للإنسان صفاء فطرته الإنسانية الأولى التي جبله الله تعالى عليها، وبقي الأمر كذلك عصر النبوة، والخلفاء الراشدين، وفترة من الدولة الأموية، لكن اختلاط العرب بغيرهم من الشعوب جعل السليقة الصافية تفقد صفاءها، واللسان الأعرابي الفصيح يتوارى بين الأخلاط الطارئة على العربية.
