المستخلص: The research presents a verified version of the first manuscript written in the topic of Islamic economic theory, which is the book of earning by Imam Muhammad ibn al Hassan, where the book was divided into five chapters, in which he dealt successively with knowledge of earning, knowledge of clothing, knowledge of food, and knowledge of speech. The book concludes with a chapter in which he talked about the rule of expanding the needs above the minimum after the performance of the obligatory ones. In the chapter of earning, Imam Muhammad spoke about the ruling of earning, its types, and its ranks, and sections for seeking knowledge. He concluded the chapter with four benefits of spreading ‘Salam’ and greeting sneezer. And in the next two chapters (eating, clothing) dealt with the ranks of each of them, and included benefits that deal with rulings and etiquettes appropriate for these two chapters.
