المستخلص: The research focuses on collection and studying of what was reported in the Sunnah (Prophetic Tradition) regarding the pre-dawn meal (sahuur), in terms of its virtue, names, what validates it, its time, and its most significant ettiquetes as reported from Prophet –peace and blessing upon him-, in light of the opinions of the scholars. The research is divided into an introduction, a preface, five sections, a conclusion, and some indexes. The research includes (35) hadiths among which (11) hadiths are on the virtue of pre-dawn meal (sahuur), and (5) hadiths on its names, and (3) hadiths regarding what validates it, and (9) hadiths on the clarification of its time, and (7) hadiths regarding its ettiquetes. The research has studied these hadiths and explained their degree [of authenticity] and the rulings that could deduced from them. The hadiths therein found in the Saheehayn (Bukhari and Muslim) or one of them are (10) hadiths in total, and the rest, which are (25) hadiths, were outside the Saheehayn. The research recommended preserving and upholding the sunnah of sahuur as urged and keenly practiced by the Prophet –peace and blessing be upon him-. Researchers as well are encouraged to give due attention to highlighting the underlying wisdom in the Sunnah of sahuur and other Sunnah practices, in order to reveal the leniency and easiness of the Shari'ah and the attributes that are peculiar to Islam likewise the attributes that are peculiar to this Ummah.

يتناول البحث جمع ودراسة ما ورد في السنة النبوية من الأحاديث الواردة في السحور من بيان فضله، وأسمائه، وبم يتحقق، ووقته، وأبرز آدابه الواردة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مسترشدا بأقوال أهل العلم. وقد قسم البحث إلى مقدمة، وتمهيد وخمسة مباحث وخاتمة وبعض الفهارس. واشتمل البحث على (٣٥) حديثا. منها أحد عشر حديثا في فضل السحور. وخمسة أحاديث في أسماء السحور. وثلاثة أحاديث فيما يتحقق به السحور؟. وتسعة أحاديث في بيان وقت السحور. وسبعة أحاديث في ذكر آداب السحور. وقد درس البحث هذه الأحاديث وبين درجتها والأحكام المستنبطة منها، وبلغت الأحاديث التي في الصحيحين أو أحدهما عشرة أحاديث، والباقي وهو خمسة وعشرون حديثا خارج الصحيحين. وأوصى البحث بالمحافظة على سنة السحور والعمل بها لحث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم عليها وحرصه على فعلها. وأن يحرص الباحثون على توضيح حكم التشريع من سنة السحور وغيرها من السنن، لبيان سماحة ويسر هذه الشريعة الغراء. والحرص على بيان ما تميز به الإسلام من خصائص، وما اختصت به هذه الأمة عن غيرها من خصائص، والله الموفق.
