إن العناية برعاية المعاقين باتت مقياسا لتقدم الأمم وتحضرها، وسمة من سماتها الإنسانية والأخلاقية، خاصة في ظل التقدم العلمي والتكنولوجي الهائل وما يترتب على هذا التقدم من تعقد الحياة بمختلف جوانبها المادية والاجتماعية، فمنذ الثمانينات حتى وقتنا الحاضر حظيت رعاية المعاقين باهتمام كبير على المستوى العالمي وكذلك على المستويات القومية ايمانا بحقوقهم الإنسانية والمدنية التي أقرتها الديانات السماوية والمواثيق الدولية، لذا حاولنا في بحثنا هذا أن نبين دور الأخصائي الاجتماعي في رعاية المعاقين وأهم العوامل المؤثرة على تأدية مهامه في هذا المجال، ولتحقيق ذلك فقد اعتمد البحث على منهج المسح الاجتماعي لذلك اشتمل البحث على بابين رئيسين، ضم الأول الجانب النظري وتضمن ثلاثة فصول، اختص الفصل الأول بالإطار العام للدراسة والذي تضمن مبحثين الأول اختص بعناصر الدراسة والثاني اختص بتحديد مفاهيم الدراسة، في حين اختص الفصل الثاني بالخدمة الاجتماعية في مجال رعاية المعاقين والذي شمل مبحثين، الأول اختص بدور الاخصائي الاجتماعي في مجال رعاية المعاقين فيما احتص الثاني بأهم العوامل المؤثرة على دور الاخصائي في رعاية المعاقين. أما الباب الثاني فيغطي الجانب الميداني وجرى فيه تحديد فرضية البحث المنسجمة مع أهداف الدراسة إذ طبق البحث على عينة قوامها (٥٠) مبحوث من الاخصائيين العاملين في معاهد رعاية المعاقين والتي تم اختيارها بصورة قصدية للحصول على المعلومات اللازمة من خلال أداة الاستمارة الاستبيانية، أما أبرز نتائج البحث التي تم التوصل إليها هو هناك علاقة بين المردود المالي الوظيفي للأخصائي الاجتماعي والظروف الاجتماعية والنفسية الصعبة التي يعاني منها.
The care of disabled has became a barometer for the progress of nations and attended and feature of it's human and moral traits especially in the light of technological and scientific progress this consequent from this progress. The complexity of life in different various aspects physical and social aspect. Since eighties and present day. Care of disabled received a considerable attention on the level of world and on the level of nationality. Belief in the human conventions we tried in this research show the role of social worker. In the care of disabled and most important factors that effecting the performance of it's functions in this area and to achieve that the researcher has adopted the social survey there for the research involved two main field the first field deals with theoretical background of study consist of three sections, the first one deals with general out line of the study, section two deals with the elements of the study and third deals with the aspects of the study. The second chapter singled out the social service in the area of the care of disabled which consist of two section. Section one deals with the role of social worker in the area of disabled. While two section singled out the factors that affect social worker in area of care of disabled. The second field cover the field aspect in which determine the hypotheses of the study that corresponding with the aims of the study, the research has been applied on (50) persons from the social workers that are work in the area of disabled care which has been selected purposefully. To get the necessary information through questionnaire concerning the main results of this study, the researcher concludes that there is a relationship between the functional financial benefits for social worker and the difficult psychological and social situations that he suffer from it.
