The film "The Tribulation" is part of this ideological context similar to the films "Cinema Terrorism" in Algeria and is an episode of the repertory of contemporary Algerian cinema. What did the film "Al Mahana" add as a new Algerian cinema? Is it different or consistent with previous films covering the phenomenon of terrorism in Algeria? Do the filmmakers, producer, director, screenwriter, actors and others in presenting the film? Have they succeeded in choosing techniques? Is the semiotic approach the most successful in dismantling and reconstructing cinematic drama? According to the critic of the film? In order to answer these hypotheses, we first have to take note of the general concepts of semioms, and then present the film in its spatial and temporal context, and its interaction with the dominant cinematic production and the bulk of this article will be devoted to the analytic application of the semiotic approach. |
