Since its appearance in the Golden Age of the Greeks in the 5th century BC to the present day, the theater is closely related to social issues as one of the oldest means of society expression. The theater expresses a playwright's point of view of real social conditions. A playwright, always, portrays social reality, interests and problems of his class and society. So was Numan Ashour, more honest in expressing his middle class hopes, ambitions and dreams, and in portraying their relations with the upper bourgeois and lower classes. The public conscience receives his drama with awareness. Thus, the current research aimed at identifying the significant issues and problems of the middle class put forward by Numan Ashour in his theater and the extent to which theatrical art was able to present the issues of the middle class. The current research adopted a analytical design of Numan Ashour's model. The sample of the study was limited to the plays of: The people under, The Aldogri's family, Tower of Tanneries, Foreign countries. Research results revealed that Numan Ashour managed to elevate reality by presenting noble values that must prevail, in all his dramas, especially in the play of The people under. Results revealed, also, Numan Ashour's dramatic concern about the middle class issues and problems. These issues include: poverty, stealing others' money, removing class differences, class ambition, family disputes, traveling and immigration.
