حدد الباحث الهدف من البحث في ضوء أن جامعي القمامة يعانون من صعوبات ومخاطر بسبب طبيعة عملهم الشاقة ووضعهم الاجتماعي المنخفض، وتدهور نوعية الحياة لديهم مما كان له تداعيته على الحالة النفسية لديهم من انخفاض تقدير الذات وعدم الرضا عن الحياة، وعدم التوافق المهني، والنظرة السلبية للمستقبل، ومشاعر العجز والضعف بسبب سوء الأحوال المهنية والبيئية، وتم استخدام مقياس الحالة النفسية، ومقياس نوعية الحياة، ودراسة الحالة، على عينة من جامعي القمامة قوامها (60) عامل وعاملة من جامعي القمامة، بالإضافة إلى تطبيق دليل دراسة الحالة على (6) من الذكور والإناث جامعي القمامة، وأظهرت النتائج بأنه توجد علاقة طردية قويه دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى دلالة معنوية ( ≤ 0.01) بين المتغيرات النفسية ونوعية الحياة لدى كل من الذكور والإناث من العاملين بمهنة جمع وفرز القمامة بمجتمع الدراسة، كما أكدت النتائج على وجود فروق جوهرية دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى دلالة معنوية ( ≤ 0.01) بين متوسطات درجات الذكور والإناث العاملين في مهنة جمع وفرز القمامة على مقياس الحالة النفسية ككل وجاءت الفروق لصالح الذكور، أيضاً أكدت النتائج أنه لا توجد فروق جوهرية دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات الذكور والإناث العاملين في مهنة جمع وفرز القمامة على مقياس نوعية الحياة ككل، أكدت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات العاملين في مهنة جمع وفرز القمامة والتفاعل بين مستوى تعليمهم فيما يتعلق بالدرجة الكلية لمقياس الحالة النفسية ككل، بينما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة معنوية 0.05 بين متوسطات درجات الذكور والإناث العاملين في مهنة جمع وفرز القمامة فيما يتعلق بالدرجة الكلية لمقياس نوعية الحياة ككل، ودرجاتهم على مؤشرات المقياس وفقاً لمتغير المستوى التعليمي.
The researcher identified the objective of the research in the light of the fact that the garbage collectors suffer from difficulties and risks because of the nature of their hard work and their low social status, and the deterioration of their quality of life, which has affected their Psychological state of low self-esteem and dissatisfaction with life, Professional incompatibility, and negative outlook for the future, Feelings of disability and weakness due to poor professional and environmental conditions, The scales of Psychological state, quality of life, and case study, were used on a sample of 60 garbage collectors, in addition to applying a case study on (6) male and female garbage collectors. The results showed that there is a significant positive correlation (α ≤ 0.01) between the psychological variables and the quality of life of both male and female workers in the field of collecting and sorting garbage in the study community. results also showed significant statistical differences at a significant significance level (0.01 0.01) between the mean scores of males and females working in the field of collection and sorting of garbage on the psychological scale as a whole. results also confirmed that there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of males and females working in the collection and sorting of garbage on the scale of quality of life as a whole, The results of the study confirmed the absence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of workers in the profession of collecting and sorting garbage and the interaction between their level of education in relation to the overall score of the psychological state scale as a whole, while there are differences of statistical significance at a significance level 0.05 between the average scores of males and females working in the profession of collecting and sorting garbage in relation to the overall degree of quality of life scale as a whole, and their grades on the indicators of the scale according to the variable of education level.
