المستخلص: البحث بصدد دراسة لمجموعة وثائق عمانية تصرفها القانوني الرئيس هو بيع الخيار (الإقالة)، تمت في فترات زمانية مختلفة ومدن وقرى متعددة، بها إشكاليات متمثلة في وجود اختلافات جوهرية بالوثائق العمانية في تناول ذلك الموضوع، من حيث الصيغ القانونية والدبلوماتية، بجانب الإشكاليات الخاصة بوجود صعوبة في تحديد الأماكن الجغرافية بدقة، وأنواع البيوع واختلاف أسعارها، والقواعد العامة التي اتبعت في كتابة هذه الوثائق في تلك المنطقة الجغرافية من العالم العربي، وكيفية توثيقها وألفاظها وعباراتها، وأسماء البلدان والمدن والقرى المذكورة بالوثائق محل الدراسة، هذا بجانب بعض الإشكاليات الموجودة ببعض الوثائق؛ مما مثل إشكاليات حاول البحث إيجاد تفسير لها، واعتمد البحث على المنهج التاريخي التحليلي، وذلك من خلال مراجعة المصادر الأولية والثانوية ونقدها نقدا خارجيا وداخليا، مع الملاحظة التحليلية الناقدة لتلك المصادر، بالإضافة لمقابلة شخصيات بعض من حائزي تلك الوثائق أو بعض مشايخ وشخصيات عمانية، واستخدام المنهج الدبلوماتي للوصول إلى الصيغ والأجزاء القانونية بالوثائق.

The research is in connection with a study of a collection of Omani documents whose legal disposal is selling the option (withdrawal), carried out in different periods of time, cities, and villages. These documents have many problems represented by the existence of fundamental differences in Omani documents in dealing with that subject, in terms of legal and diplomatic formulas besides the problems of the existence of difficulty in accurately identifying geographical places, types of sales, and different prices, the general rules that were followed in writing these documents in that geographical region of the Arab world, how to document them, their words and phrases, and the names of the countries, cities, and villages mentioned in the documents in question. This is in addition to some of the problems that exist in some documents, which represented the problems that the researcher tried to find a solution.
The research relied on the historical and analytical approach by reviewing primary and secondary sources and criticizing them externally and internally, with the critical analytical observation of those sources. In addition to meeting the figures of some of the possessors of those documents or some Omani Sheikhs and personalities, the researcher used the diplomatic approach to access legal forms and parts of documents.
