لقد حاولنا في بحثنا الذي وسمناه بـ (ملامح السرد في شعر العذريين)، أن نكشف عن الكيفية التي حكى بها الشعراء العذريون عن بوحهم، وهمومهم، معبرين عن حالاتهم، وعواطفهم، ساردين همومهم اليومية مع الحبيبة؛ عبر عناصر مختلفة، ومتعددة، محققين بها سردية متميزة لهم؛ مثل بنية الشخصية، وسمات الراوي الشعري، وبنية الزمن، وبنية المكان، كما لاحظنا شكل النمطية السردية العربية الموروثة؛ التي استغلها الشعراء العذريون لأداء الحكي الشعري، وتوغلنا في جسد النصوص الشعرية لدى الشعراء العذريين من خلال التقنيات السردية التي حاولنا دراستها بقراءات لنماذج مختارة للشعراء من دواوينهم. كما استطعنا أن نتحصل على مجموعة من النتائج التي تدل على ملامح السرد بإيقاعه الساحر، ودلالاته الموحية، وبنية المكان، والزمن، والشخصيات، والراوي، وتوصلنا إلى خصوصية الشعر القصصي عند الشعراء بقوة؛ فقد مزجوا فيه ما بين الشعري والقصصي، بتشكيل سردي؛ فلم يفقد الشعر خصائصه وبهاءه، ولم يفقد القص خصائصه أيضاً، إذ تعانق الاثنان في مشهد أدبي مميز، وخلاب.
