المستخلص: The current research aimed to find out how to achieve the excellence of the Egyptian university education. The nature of the current research requires - in order to achieve its objectives and in line with its nature- using the descriptive analytical methodology. The research included the following four axes: dealt in the first axis: The conceptual framework for the excellence of university- education and the concept of excellence of university education, the importance of its achievement, and the role of the elements of the university education system In achieving it. in the second axis: the reality of Excellence of Egyptian university education and obstacles of achieving it, while dealt in the third axis: the excellence of university education in the light of the experience of the University of Oxford in this field, and concluded in the fourth axis: the results of the research Findings, and recommendations proposed to achieve Egyptian university education excellence in the light of these results. The research found several results, the most prominent of which are the low status of Egyptian university education. This is reflected in the analysis of some international reports and indicators, the obstacles of achieving excellence in Egyptian university education, and achieving Excellence of Egyptian university education in its various functions. In light of these results, the research suggested recommendations that contribute to achieve excellence in The Egyptian university education. The research suggested recommendations were formulated in light of the. Egyptian reality and, in light of the experience of the University of Oxford.

استهدف البحث الحالي التوصل إلى الكيفية التي يمكن من خلالها تحقيق تميز التعليم الجامعي المصري، واقتضت طبيعة هذا البحث – تحقيقا لأهدافه، وتمشيا مع طبيعته- استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وقد اشتمل البحث على الإطار العام له، وتضمن: مقدمة البحث ومشكلته وتساؤلاته وأهدافه وأهميته ومنهجه وحدوده ومصطلحاته وخطوات السير فيه، كما اشتمل على أربعة محاور، تناول في محوره الأول: الإطار الفكري لتميز التعليم الجامعي وتضمن مفهوم تميز التعليم الجامعي، وأهمية تحقيقه، ودور عناصر المنظومة الجامعية في تحقيقه، وتناول في محوره الثاني: واقع تميز التعليم الجامعي المصري ومعوقات تحقيقه، في حين تناول في محوره الثالث: تميز التعليم الجامعي في ضوء خبرة جامعة أكسفورد، وتناول في محوره الرابع: ما توصل إليه البحث الحالي من نتائج، والتصور المقترح لمتطلبات تحقيق تميز التعليم الجامعي المصري في ضوء هذه النتائج. وقد خلص البحث إلى عدة نتائج، أبرزها: تدني وضع التعليم الجامعي المصري وظهر ذلك من تحليل بعض التقارير والمؤشرات الدولية، ووجود معوقات تحقيق تميز التعليم الجامعي المصري، وأنه بالإمكان تحقيق تميز التعليم الجامعي المصري في مختلف وظائفه من خلال الاستفادة من خبرة جامعة أكسفورد. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، وضع البحث تصورا مقترحا يسهم في تحقيق تميز التعليم الجامعي المصري صيغ هذا التصور في ضوء الواقع المصري وفي ضوء خبرة جامعة أكسفورد.
