المستخلص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى إبراز مفهوم البراجماتية الأداتية عند جون ديوي، ونظرتها للمعرفة والكون والصدق والحقيقة، كما هدفت إلى بيان موقف الشريعة الإسلامية منها، وقد عرضت في هذا البحث موقف جون ديوي من المعرفة والخبرة والعقل والقيم والأخلاق والدين، وقد استخدمت أسلوب تحليل المحتوى وذلك لملاءمته لهذه الدراسة. وقد بينت أن ديوي أنطلق من المجتمع الأمريكي، وحاول إصلاحه في شتى المجالات، وقد أدرك ديوي أن ذلك لن يأتي إلا إذا أخرج الفلسفة من نمطها التقليدي حتى تواكب التحول الذي شهدته الحياة في مختلف مناحيها. وبناء على ذلك نظر ديوي إلى المعرفة بمعيار جديد، فرفض الأفكار المثالية المتعالية، وأكد على أهمية التجربة، فاعتقد أن الإنسان كائن بيولوجي متطور عن مراحل متدرجة من التكيف مع البيئة، واشتق ديوي من هذا الاعتقاد طبيعة المعرفة فرأي أنها ما يكيف الإنسان للبقاء، وبذلك يصبح التفكير وسيلة لتحقيق التكيف، ويصبح العقل هو القدرة على التكيف في المواقف الجديدة. وقد أظهرت الدراسة أن الأداتية التي نادى بها ديوي، والتي تعتبر امتداد وتطور للفلسفة البراجماتية تنطلق من مبادئ وأهداف تختلف عن مبادئ وأهداف الإسلام، وذلك لنموها في بيئة تختلف عن بيئة الإسلام، فهي لم تمنح الإنسان ما منحه المنهج الإسلامي من تكامل ووسطية بين الجانب المادي والروحي، بالإضافة إلى القول بنسبية القيم وعدم إطلاقها، واعتبار الخبرة الإنسانية المصدر الوحيد لهذه القيم، بالإضافة إلى التركيز على النفع المادي للقيم دون الجانب الأخلاقي، وهذا ما يرفضه الإسلام. وقد أظهرت الدراسة ان الأداتية تقطع الصلة بين الإنسان وبين خالقه، بل وتؤدي في النهاية إلى تحويل الناس لذئاب بشرية، لا يتواصلون إلا حيث يكون النفع، وبذلك تختفي كل معان العطف والرحمة والتعاون بين الناس. وقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة التمسك بتعاليم الدين الإسلامي، وتعزيز مبدأ النفع للآخرين، وضرورة بناء أجيال متمسكة بدينها، وإبراز فشل الأنظمة الوضعية في تحقيق السعادة للإنسان بالمقارنة مع الإسلام، وإظهار مدى التدهور الأخلاقي الملحوظ لدى الأنظمة الغربية، وذلك بترسيخ نهل القيم من مصادرها الشرعية

The purpose of this study was to highlight the concept of the Instrumental Pragmatism of John Dewey, and its view of knowledge, the universe, honesty and truth. It also aimed to demonstrate the attitude of the Islamic Shari'a. The research presented John Dewey's attitude on knowledge, experience, mind, values, ethics and religion. For this study. The content analysis method was used to suit this study. I explained that Dewey started from American society and tried to reform it in various fields. Dewey realized that this would only come about if he took philosophy out of its traditional style to keep up with the transformation of life in all its aspects. Therefore, Dewey considered knowledge of a new standard. He rejected the transcendental ideals and emphasized the importance of experiment. He believed that man is a sophisticated biological organism with gradual stages of adapting to the environment. Dewey derived from this belief the nature of knowledge, Thinking means to achieve adjustment, the mind becomes the ability to adapt in new situations . The study has shown that the instrumentalism advocated by Dewey, which is an extension . and evolution of pragmatic philosophy, are based on principles and objectives that differ from the principles and objectives of Islam, for their growth in an environment different from the environment of Islam. As well as, it did not grant the human being what the Islamic curriculum gave of the integration and moderation between the material and spiritual side, in addition to saying the proportion of values and non-launch, and to consider human experience the only source of these values, in addition to focus on the material benefit of values without the moral side, and this is rejected by Islam . The study has shown that the Instrumentalism cut off the connection between man and his creator, and ultimately lead people to human wolves, who communicate only where they benefit, and thus all the meanings of compassion, compassion and cooperation among people disappear . The study recommended the need to adhere to the teachings of the Islamic religion, promote the principle of benefit to others, the need to build generations adhering to its religion, and to highlight the failure of the systems of status in achieving happiness for man compared to Islam, and to show the extent of moral deterioration marked by Western .systems.
