يتضمن البحث عدة محاور أهمها: أولا: تحرير مفهوم التجديد. ثانيا: التجديد ضرورة إنسانية. ثالثا: تأريخ موجز للتجديد عبر القرون المتعاقبة. رابعا: الإشارة إلى سمات التجديد في القارتين. خامسا: منطلقات وبواعث التجديد المعاصر. سادسا: التحديات والعقبات. سابعا: التوصيات. ملمح عام عن المشاركة: يعد التجديد في الفكر الإسلامي من أكثر المصطلحات تعقيدا عبر القرون المتوالية، ويصعب تحديد ملامح هذا التجديد وفق الحتميات الباعثة له، من جهة، ووفق الأيدلوجيات الممارسة له من جهة أخرى، كما أن النوازل والملمات لها دور عظيم في تجسيد هذا التجديد وبلورته في الصورة المناسبة والملائمة لهذا التطور النازل والملمة الحاصلة. ويزيد الأمر وضوحا حين نرى المتصدرين للتجديد في كل مرحلة من مراحل التاريخ الإسلامي ونقوم على دراسة أحوالهم والظروف الاجتماعية والسياسية المصاحبة لهم، وغالب اتفاقهم أنهم في أول الأمر يكونوا أشخاصا باعتبارهم الشخصي مجددين لا باعتبار الجهات التابعين لها مؤسسية كانت أو إدارية بأي صورة كانت، وفي هذا البحث نماذج من ذلك وتطبيقات عدة، تتواءم والحياة التي نعاصرها مما يضفي جلاء ووضوحا على المقصود من البحث.

As long as, developments have a great role in demonstrating this reconstruction in a picture which suits that steady progress. It is more obvious when we find those who expose themselves to reconstruction in each of the Islamic thought phases, and study their statuses and the social and political conditions surrounding them. They are all persons at the beginning as they are reformers not according to the organizations they belong to either institutional or administrative in any form; this research has many examples and applications which cope up with life so that the message of the research can be clearer.
