المستخلص: This article tries to study the history of water in the city of Marrakesh and its surroundings during the French protection over Morocco by issuing decrees and laws to regulate the water affairs in the city. This study is one of the neglected subjects in the contemporary Moroccan history field because of the complexity of its issues. So, we will try to address the problem of colonialism and water by addressing the various questions related to it and also by talking a little about the boundaries of the city of Marrakesh and its surroundings. Moreover, we will try to present a vision about the guardianship of French colonialism over the city's water systems and its different aspects. All this will take into consideration the legal and administrative procedures approved by the protection under the supervision of public residency. And the extent to which the city and the districts benefit from the advantages of the legal legislations on water rights, which have employed various mechanisms to manage its affairs that have been activated by several institutions

يروم هذا المقال إلى دراسة تاريخ الماء في مدينة مراكش وأحوازها إبان الحماية الفرنسية على المغرب من خلال الظهائر والقرارات التي أصدرتها فرنسا لتنظيم شؤون الماء بالمدينة، وتعد هذه الدراسة من المواضيع المهملة في حقل التاريخ المغربي المعاصر، نظرا لتعقد إشكالاتها. لذلك سنحاول ملامسة إشكالية الاستعمار والماء بالتصدي لمختلف التساؤلات المرتبطة بها بالوقوف عند حدود مجال مدينة مراكش وأحوازها عبر تقديم رؤية حول وصاية الاستعمار الفرنسي على الأنظمة المائية بالمدينة ونواحيها، وذلك بتتبع الإجراءات القانونية والإدارية التي أقرتها الحماية تحت إشراف الإقامة العامة، ومدى استفادة المدينة والنواحي من مزايا التشريعات القانونية حول حقوق الماء، الذي وظفت لتدبير شؤونه آليات متعددة سهرت على تفعيلها مؤسسات عدة.
