تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى تشخيص مكامن الضعف في الخطاب الديني من خلال طرح إشكالات اتصالية فيه انطلاقا من العناصر الاتصالية التقليدية للعملية الاتصالية، وإسقاطها على هذا الخطاب مع مراعاة ظروف العصر ومستجداته، والتأكيد على أن هذه الظروف تؤثر على آليات إيصال الرسالة الدينية وليس على الرسالة في حد ذاتها. بمعنى أن الهدف من هذا الطرح هو الوصول إلى صيغة تجديدية لأساليب توصيل رسالة الخطاب الديني وليس تجديدا للخطاب في حد ذاته.
