|b Wind turbines are the means of converting wind energy into electrical energy. It has been the objective of this study to find out whether it is possible to match a wind turbine that is more suitable for an electric motor of lower rotational speed. In achieving this objective, use was made of a typical horizontal axis wind turbine with actual an electric motor. Based on the annual energy yield normal system was working to produce energy, this study indicates that the constant of the energy because of an electric motor working. Therefore the optimum value of rated speed is maximum speed that produces higher energy continuously. Moreover, for suitable system main parameter is the energy requirement (electricity energy).
