المستخلص: Cette contribution s’inscrit dans la continuité des travaux de recherche sur les transitions et mutations démographiques à savoir le vieillissement de la population en tant que phénomène dans le monde en général et en Algérie particulièrement, a travers les mécanismes d’organisation et de régulation du travail social par les structures et institutions relevant du domaine d’une part et d’autre les acteurs dont la responsabilité leur incombe implicitement ou explicitement d’améliorer le quotidien cette catégorie des séniores en collaboration avec la société civile en général et les familles des personnes âgées en particulier . Il a pour objectif d’élargir cette problématique en développant une réflexion autour de L’ensemble des changements démographiques et leurs conséquences. notamment le vieillissement démographique à travers la thématique de la prise en charge et la réhabilitation de la personne âgée dans le cadre d’une approche diversifiée qu’on va essayer de développer tout au long du projet. La thématique s’articulera autour de trois axes : La vieillesse et les personnes âgées, définition et terminologie, Quelques conceptions et approches du phénoméne, La prise en charge et la réhabilitation de la personne âgée.

This contribution is a continuation of the research work on demographic transitions and mutations, namely the aging of the population as a phenomenon in the world in general and in Algeria in particular, through the organization and regulation mechanisms of the population. social work by the structures and institutions in the field on the one hand and the actors whose responsibility it is incumbent on them implicitly or explicitly to improve the daily life of this category of seniors in collaboration with the civil society in general and the families of the people elderly in particular.
