The announcement of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of his plan to annex the Jordan Valley and settlements in the West Bank in coordination with the US administration is a continuation of Israeli efforts to annex Palestinians lands which it occupied in 1967, affirming its sovereignty over these lands and declaring them part of Israel. It also comes in harmony with the US “Peace Plan”, which was declared by Trump in January, 29, 2020, and which proposes the annexation of 30 percent of the occupied West Bank to Israeli sovereignty. Israel is preparing new maps to include lands it intends to annex to become an integral part of the (State of Israel), jointly with the Americans. Annexation is expected to include 30 – 45 percent of West Bank territory during this stage, which will have major repercussions on the Palestinian Issue and the Arab-Israeli conflict. This report discusses the impact of annexing large parts of the West Bank on the Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian levels. On the Palestinian level, the annexation project misses the opportunity of establishing a viable contiguous Palestinian state; it also ends the course of Oslo negotiations or spend on programs and arrangements to confront the crisis in its various health, social and economic dimensions. It recommends approving a unified strategy to confront this epidemic based on achieving a balance between the individual measures of Arab countries with their capabilities and the collective Arab level. The cooperation is to be under the coordination of the Arab League and the Council of Arab Health Ministers, which allows the grouping of forces, their gathering, and the utilization of the available Arab capabilities. The creation of Arab banking blocs to finance economic operations and many joint mechanisms and bodies supported by governments are part of the suggested project features. It also includes the establishment of an "Arab Scientific Research Fund." Furthermore, it supports the establishment of a special fund for "advanced technology education," and the establishment of a "bank of the poor" to oversee poverty reduction in the Arab world. These mechanisms are supposed to provide financial and medical support for Arab countries who are not able to confront the crisis and address its repercussions individually. In its conclusion, the report recommends the speedy decision-making at the League of Arab States at the delegate level to adopt this initiative. It suggests holding an expanded Arab conference, even if it is virtually, from health, economic, social, and technology experts to discuss and develop these perceptions and transform them into action plans. It calls on the Jordanian government to adopt this project as it has achieved notable successes in the face of this crisis.
