Since the beginning of April, 2020, Libya witnessed rapid developments, after which clashes moved from the Tripoli suburbs to the central region, Seirt and Aljafra, causing the defeat of Haftar’s forces and their retreat to the Libyan west. This is an important change in the armed struggle, because it gives the legitimate coalition government an outlet from the successive pressures that were accompanied by anxiety about the fall of the capital Tripoli. Haftar’s defeat in the Libyan west led to domestic and foreign political changes and shifts in the position of countries supporting the coalition government, which enjoys international legitimacy. In this analysis we try to explain the impact of these transformations in Libya on the position of regional countries, especially neighboring countries, such as Algeria and Egypt, in addition to regional initiatives and the Turkish role. The analysis concludes that the increased number of international players in Libya adds to the intensity of international competition, especially in regards to increased restrictions on regional parties, therefore, the main any relative agreements, which weakens the Palestinian authority and limits its role to a civil local administration for certain parts of the West Bank. On the Jordanian level, the annexation is a blow to the Jordanian policy towards the Palestinian Issue. This step violates the Jordanian – Israeli peace treaty and threatens Jordan’s higher interests; Jordan considers the annexation of the Jordan Valley as a security and strategic threat. On the Israeli level, the Israeli prime minister, sees the annexation as a historical expansionary opportunity for Israel and to drag the Palestinians into more concessions by putting new basis and conditions to resume future negotiations with the Palestinians. Annexation has negative impact on Israel, for it weakens Israel’s international position, highlights it as an “Apartheid” regime, threatens peace treaties and weakens regional peace. The report comes to a number of indications summed up by the annexation polices for Palestinian territory in the American “Peace Plan”; these include, Israel is moving on with its old colonial Zionist project in the region; it seeks to unilaterally liquidate the Palestinian issue; the majority of Israeli political spectrum favors extremist right wing policies causing the Israeli society to move towards the extreme right, which threatens the Arab national security and that of other countries. The Israeli rapprochement with certain Arab regimes and calls for normalization during past years didn’t push Israel towards peace, but rather towards more extremist policies.
