|a لطالما أخذ مفهوم الفضاء وتشكيلاته أهمية كبرى في التنظير للعمل الروائي في المغرب العربي وغيرها من الأقطار، نظرا لما يأخذه الفضاء المكاني من أهمية في تشكيل وقراءة العمل الروائي، لأن المكان من أهم العناصر التي تمنح النص سرديته، ولأن الرواية الجزائرية المعاصرة تأست وفق فضاء مكاني، ارتأينا أن نجري قراءة سيميائية في هذا العنصر، بما يمنحه من خصوصية للرواية الجزائرية وقدرتها على الوجود والتميز، كما أن هذا الفضاء يوسم بالتشابك والتعقيد، والترميز، مما يستدعي قراءة سيميائية متأنية في هذا التشكيل.
