Ground water is very important resource all over the world especially in development countries, and not use it the optimum use especially in Egypt, which is suffered from water shortage that achieved average per person ever the lowest level about 500 M3/ person in 2018, as we know that agriculture activity the most consumer for water; So we have to use new irrigation technology in this field Sid by side with saving fuel and energy, These technologies represented in new ways for irrigation such as pivot irrigate by sprinkles, surface drip irrigation, Drip irrigation under soil, with these different ways we must apply water schedule and use sensors for moistures testing to determine how much water the plant need in different soil types, these new technology is more expensive than traditional ways, but it work to decrease use of water and energy so it will be economically in medium and long term, plus it help to increase production, by this way we can save our water& energy; So that increase production in macroeconomy and get hard currency from agriculture exports that represent 20% from Egyptian Exports. |
