This paper aims to study climate change in the case of population changes and the impact of high population growth rate, This will be done by showing the impact of rapid population growth on climate change and its impact on the environment and natural resources in order to reduce the negative effects resulting from it, And analysis of the main causes of climate change in Egypt, The paper reached the following: The Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), in its first article, states that climate change is directly or indirectly attributable to human activity and increases population growth by altering the composition of the atmosphere as well as changes and fluctuations that occur naturally in the climate, this is reflected and affects the population in several aspects, some of which are health, food and water, this came from the first hypothesis of the research hypotheses. The second result is increase in population growth has led to increased pressure on the environment and natural resources, given the need to provide the basic requirements of the population, and this negatively affects the environment and then the negative reflection on the sustainability of development, population growth is the biggest challenge facing sustainable development and hence climate change, this is in line with the second assumption of research hypotheses that low fertility reduces climate change.
