Knowledge has become the primary driver of production and economic growth, and the focus on information, data and technology has become a key factor in the knowledge economy in the 21st century. The shift towards a knowledge-based economy has led to the development of economic growth in Korea and has directly and indirectly affected the economic situation in Korea. The indicators indicate that the contribution of the ICT sector to economic growth increased to an average of 20% during the period 2010-2013 From the operational perspective, the ICT sector accounted for about 10% of the total workforce in 2013. Singapore's success in enhancing the effectiveness of the four pillars of the knowledge economy led to Singapore becoming second in the world in terms of the intensive use of knowledge and in terms of technical readiness, which led it to become one of the most liberal, innovative, competitive and attractive countries in the world. It is thus clear to us how important the transformation of the economies of developing countries towards the knowledge economy is the role of economic growth.
