المستخلص: Business organizations started introducing and implementing the practices of support to their employees’ long time ago in the 1980’s. It is now popular in the private and non-governmental sector, as well. The purpose of this study is to deepen the understanding of the mediating role of Intention to stay in the relationship between, perceived organizational support and the perceived organizational performance. That objective was achieved by using a questionnaire of 23 statements and distributed among the employees working in the 3 sectors of pharmaceutical public, private and international companies in Egypt, with a total sample size of 484 questionnaires, data were collected and analyzed using the SPSS18 and after the descriptive analysis was executed, studying the correlation and regression coefficients between the study variables and the structure equation modeling and the path analysis and testing hypotheses took place. From the most important study results were: The perceived organizational support has a moderate positive significant impact on the intention to stay with a value of 0.403, which means that the first hypothesis is “Not rejected”. Second, by checking the responses of the employees regarding the POS it’s clear that they agree that its existence is important to the company, as 30-50 % of the employees agreed or strongly agreed upon this. Based on this research results it is recommended to Looking for applicants who match the company and bring them aboard to increase overall fit as the values and interests, also supervisors could devote specific attention to communicating the values of the organization and could be actively involved in socializing employees.
