| 520 | |b This papers aims at exploring the moderating effect of firm size on the leverage-performance relationship in Egypt. Data is collected for 63 Egyptian non-financial firms for the period of 2012-2017. Indicators of firm’s financial performance, Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE) and Earnings per share (EPS) are used as dependent variables. While debt financing was measured by Short-term Debt, Long-term Debt and Debt Ratio, whereas logarithm of Total Assets have been utilized as indicator of firm size. The results reveal that the overall leverage-performance relationship is moderated by the firm size and that debt maturity has no effect on firms financial performance. | ||
