هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى الرغبة المنتجة نحو الرياضيات لدى طلاب الصفوف الأول والثاني والثالث المتوسط بمدينة الطائف، ومعرفة مدى وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى لاختلاف الصف الدراسي، واتبعت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وصمم الباحث مقياساً مكوناً من (15) فقرة موزعاً على (3) محاور، وطبقت الدراسة على عينة اختيرت بالطريقة العشوائية العنقودية من (4) مكاتب للتعليم بمدينة الطائف بواقع (360) طالباً، وبعد تطبيق الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن: 1. محور أهمية الرياضيات في الحياة لدى طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة كان بدرجة متوسطة. 2. محور مستوى قدرة طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة على ممارسة الرياضيات كان بدرجة متوسطة. 3. محور مستوى اتجاهات طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة نحو الرياضيات كان بدرجة متوسطة. 4. مقياس الرغبة المنتجة ككل نحو الرياضيات كان بدرجة متوسطة. 5. لا توجد فروق دالة احصائيا بين متوسطات استجابات عينة الدراسة حول مستوى الرغبة المنتجة لدى الطلاب تعزى لاختلاف الصف الدراسي.
The current study aimed to identify the level of desire produced toward mathematics among students of the first, second and third grades in the city of Taif, and to know the extent of statistically significant differences attributable to the difference in the classroom, and the study followed the survey descriptive approach, and the researcher designed a scale consisting of (15) paragraphs distributed to ( 3) axes, and the study was applied to a sample chosen in a cluster randomized way from (4) education offices in the city of Taif by (360) students, and after applying the appropriate statistical methods the results of the study concluded that: 1. The axis of the importance of mathematics in life among middle school students was of an average degree. 2. The focus of the level of middle school students' ability to practice mathematics was at an intermediate level. 3. The axis of the level of middle school students' attitudes toward mathematics was at an average degree. 4. The measure of desire produced as a whole toward mathematics was of a moderate degree. 5. There are no statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses of the study sample about the level of desire produced by students due to the difference in the classroom.
