Cloud computing has evolved dramatically in recent years because of its propagation and expansion, it has become one of the fastest growing sectors in the Information Technology (IT) industry. Thus, cloud computing has created dramatic changes in people’s lifestyles and patterns of business in recent years due to its many benefits. Cloud computing attracted attention in the IT world when it provides cost-effective services, storage costs, storage space, low processing, flexible online demand, and advances in Internet security. Cloud computing has gained this attention due to the growth of internet technologies and the increase in the number of internet users. The dynamics and nature of cloud computing and proportion of the increase of internet users are creating security challenges over time, and security on the cloud is becoming a growing concern. Cloud computing security is one in all the most challenges in cloud computing. These security concerns include trust, architecture, identity management, data protection, confidentiality and availability, all these vulnerabilities lead to multiple threats to the cloud, such as authentication, malicious insiders, misuse of cloud infrastructure, eavesdropping, network intrusion, insecure application programming interfaces, and traffic hijacking. The work presented in this paper focuses on the security issues of cloud computing. Initially, the definition and components of cloud computing is presented. The reads that affect cloud security are also discussed. Later, some current solutions to security threats are also addressed. |
