المستخلص: تناول البحث بالدرس؛ أحد فروع التفسير، وهو "التفسير الموضوعي" ليقوم بمقارنة بين تعاريفه، وتقصي نشأته، قديمة هي أم جديدة؟ والبحث عن الأسباب وراء بزوغ نجمه في العقود الأخيرة؛ حيث علت الأصوات مطالبة باعتماده منهجا بديلا في تناول القضايا التي تعرض للمجتمع، أو تلك التي طرحها القرآن الكريم، قديمة كانت، أو استشرافية. وعن طريق لم الآيات التي عرضت للموضوع، وتدبرها، وتأمل خلال سياقها، بحثا عن الأسباب وراء ذكرها في القرآن الكريم، والتي ستفيد في فهم مجموعة من الظواهر الإنسانية أو الكونية، التي من شأن ضبطها، والتحكم فيها، تسخيرها خدمة للإنسانية، مصداقا لقوله تعالى:﴿ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمْ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ﴾[الجاثية: ١٣]. ولإبراز أهمية التفسير الموضوعي عمد البحث إلى مقارنته بالفروع الأخرى للتفسير، وإظهار الفرق بين دراسة الكلمة القرآنية والاكتفاء بتقصي مواضعها داخل القرآن، وبين الوحدة الموضوعية للسورة التي تربط القضايا التي بسطتها، وبين التفسير الموضوعي الذي ينظر في كل ما جمعه حول أطرافه وجزئياته نظرة جامعة شاملة؛ لعله يتوصل للقواعد التي تنظم موضوعه ويظفر بنظرية حولها. إضافة إلى ما ذُكر، فالحاجة إلى التفسير الموضوعي قد فرضتها قصور التفاسير في حلتها القديمة عن تلبية حاجات الناس والمجتمع؛ رغم غناء محتواها، فإن التفسير الموضوعي بإمكانه التصدي لأي قضية طارئة، مثله مثل الاجتهاد الفقهي، فهو لا محدود المواضيع، يتجدد بتجدد قضاياه.

This study deals with one of the branches of exegesis, namely “substantive exegesis”, then moves to make a comparison of its definitions and delves into its roots to determine whether they are old or new, and proceed to identify the reasons behind its increasing popularity over the last decades. This is because demands have grown more vocal calling for the adoption of the latter as an alternative approach in dealing with issues brought to society or other issued raised by the holy Qur’an, be it ancient or forthcoming. And through gathering verses after studying, reflection upon and contemplating them through their context, in search of the reasons why they were mentioned in the holy Qur’an. This will contribute to understanding human or universal phenomena that can be detected, checked and used for the benefit of humanity, as God Almighty said: ﴾And He placed at your service whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth . . . ﴿ (Al-Jathiyah: 13) In order to highlight the significance of substantive exegesis, the study seeks to compare it with other branches of exegesis and to show the contrast between the Qur’anic word and simply investigating its positions within the Qur’an; between the substantive coherence of the Surah which brings up the issues it tackles; and between substantive exegesis that looks into the overall findings about its parts and aspects, there a comprehensive, holistic view to perhaps reach the rules that regulate its object and to come up with a theory about it. In addition to that, the necessity for substantive exegesis has been imposed by the shortcoming of old versions of exegeses that, albeit rich in content, fail to meet the needs of people and society. Therefore, substantive exegesis can deal with any urgent topic, such as jurisprudence, that is polythematic and renewable through the renewal of its topics.
