المستخلص: تناول البحث ظاهرة اجتماعية برزت بصورة جلية في شعر أحد الشعراء العباسيين، وهي ظاهرة الفقر في شعر مروان بن محمد الملقب بأبي الشمقمق، فالميزة المهيمنة في شعره هي تجسيد الواقع المرير الذي عاشه وصياغة ذلك في صور شعرية صادقة ومعبرة عن الإحساس الحقيقي بالفقر من خلال مظاهر: الطرافة والحزن والسخرية، لذلك لا نبالغ إذا قلنا إن أبا الشمقمق من أبرز شعراء عصره تعبيراً عن مساوئ الفقر وتصويراً لطبقه المجتمع الدنيا، وكأن شعره ثورة ساخرة ممتزجة بالحزن والطرافة. وقد قصدنا في المقدمة-قبل البدء بدراسة مظاهر الفقر وملامحه الفنية عند الشاعر-عرض أخباره من خلال بيان: اسمه وكنيته ولقبه، ونشأته وحياته، وأخباره مع شعراء عصره وغيرهم، ووفاته، وبعد ذلك اشتملت الدراسة على ثلاثة مباحث ذكرت أبرز المظاهر الاجتماعية للفقر في شعر أبي الشمقمق، وهي: الأولى-صورة الفقر الطريفة، والثانية-صورة الفقر الحزينة، والثالثة-صورة الفقر الساخرة، وقد وجهت شعر أبي الشمقمق للتعبير عن تلك المظاهر الاجتماعية للفقر وتصويرها أدق تصوير.

Has been our intention in introduce- before you start studying the manifestations of poverty and features art when Ahead- display news through a statement: name and surname, title, and upbringing and his life, and his news with the poets of his time, and others, and his death, and then study included three sections according to the most prominent social aspects of poverty in the hair Dad Abu Achammqmq, namely: Alloy- exotic image of poverty, and II-image of the sad poverty, Cycle- satirical portrait of poverty, has drawn hair dad Achammqmq to express those social aspects of poverty and photographed more accurate portrayal.
