المستخلص: السلام مطلب مهم في حياة الأمم والشعوب، حيث تحرص عليه الأمم الواعية وتسعى إلى تحقيقه، وتحرص عليه كل قيادة عاقلة وواعية بما يحققه السلام من مكاسب وإنجازات تسعى الشعوب دائما إلى تحصيلها، ونظرا للحالة التي تنعم فيها أمتنا بالأمن والسلام في الوقت الراهن، فقد رأيت أنه من الأهمية بمكان أن أعرض نموذجا مشرقا من سيرة سيد الأولين والآخرين، يظهر فيه الاستغلال الأمثل لهذه المرحلة المهمة في حياة الأمة، لقد كان صلاح الحديبية تمهيدا لمرحلة عظيمة في تاريخ الدعوة، فلقد كان الصلح نصرا وفتحا وانتشارا لدين الله وإظهارا له على كافة الأديان. والسلام في حد ذاته مرحلة بناء وتنظيم للمجتمع، لاستكمال عناصر القوة اللازمة للمواجهة إذا دعت الضرورة لذلك، وهو مرحلة مهمة لإعادة ترتيب الأوراق، والانطلاق حسب الأولويات التي تم ترتيبها والاتفاق عليها لقد استمرت هذه الهدنة بعد توقيع صلح الحديبية من العام السادس للهجرة حوالي اثنين وعشرين شهراً، فماذا فعل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خلال هذه المرحلة؟ لقد زاد في بناء الدولة فغزا خيبر، وأرسل الرسل لدعوة الملوك والأمراء والرؤساء في عصره، وبعث السرايا إلى قبائل العرب، وأرسل الجيش في غزوة مؤتة من عام 8 ه، وكذلك سرية ذات السلاسل، واستمر العمل على هذه الوتيرة حتى نقضت قريش عهدها مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فكان فتح مكة في شهر رمضان من العام الثامن للهجرة، وهذا هو الاستغلال الحقيقي للسلامة لبناء النفوس وتقوية أركان الدولة. وإن حرص النبي الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم على تحقيق السلام يعكس مدى أهمية هذه المرحلة لنشر الدعوة وتوطيد أركانها، هذا من جانب، ومن جانب آخر يبرهن على أن الحرب في الإسلام ليست مقصودة لذاتها، وإن الوسائل التي شرعها الإسلام لنشر دين الله في الأرض نبيلة نبل الإسلام ذاته. ولعلنا أدركنا الآن كيف استفاد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من مرحلة السلام التي وقعت بين صلح الحديبية وفتح مكة بعد أن نقضت قريش عهدها مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وحلفائه، كيف أمن دولته وكيف وسع في الدعوة إلى دين الله، فخرج به خارج نطاق الجزيرة العربية، لأنه دين عالمي، جاء للناس كافة في شتى بقاع الأرض بموجب قوله تعالى: (وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ). ولعلنا أدركنا أيضا أن الأمة اليوم مطالبة بالتأسي بالنبي القائد صلى الله عليه وسلم في استغلال مراحل السلام التي تعيشها، فعلى الحكومات أن تسعى لتأمين مستقبل شعوبها وأن تحصن نفسها، وأن تبني حضارتها، وتؤمن للأجيال القادمة حياة كريمة يملؤها العزة والفخار، وأن تمتلك من قوة الردع الاستراتيجي ما يدفع عنها أطماع أعدائها، وكل من تسول له نفسه بالاعتداء عليها أو على كرامة أبنائها.

Peace is an important requirement in the life of nations and people, as conscious nations strive to achieve it, and every rational and conscious leadership is keen on it for the gains and accomplishments of peace that people are always striving to acquire. Given the situation in which our nation is blessed with security and peace at the present time, I have realized that it is important to present a bright example of the biography of the Master of those of old, and those of later times, our Prophet Muhammad, in which the optimal exploitation of this important phase in the life of the nation appears. Treaty of Hudaybiya was a prelude to a great phase in the history of the Da’wa "Islamic Call". Treaty of Hudaybiya was a victory, a conquest, a spread of the religion of Allāh "Islamic Religion", and a manifestation of Islam over all the religions. Peace in itself is a phase of building and organizing the society in order to complete the elements of the force needed for confrontation, if necessary. Also, Peace is an important phase for reordering the goals, and going ahead according to the priorities that were arranged and agreed upon. This truce continued after the signing of Treaty of Hudaybiya, took place in the year of 6 AH, about twenty-two months. So, what did the Prophet – Peace Be Upon Him – do during this phase? Prophet Muhammad – Peace Be Upon Him – increased the building of the state so He conquered Khaybar, sent the messengers to convert the kings, princes, and presidents of his era into Islam, sent the military campaigns "sarāyā" to the Arab tribes, and sent the army in the Battle of Mu'tah in the year of 8 AH, as well as the Campaign of Dhatas Salasil. Achievements continued at this pace until the Quraysh broke its covenant with the Prophet – Peace Be Upon Him –, so Makkah was conquered in Ramadan, 8 AH. This is the real exploitation of peace to build souls and strengthen the pillars of the state. The keenness of the Noble Prophet – Peace Be Upon Him – to achieve peace reflects, on the one hand, the importance of this phase for spreading the Da'wa "Islamic Call" and consolidating its pillars. On the other hand, it proves that the war in Islam is not intended for its own sake, and that the means enacted by Islam to spread the religion of Allāh "Islamic Religion" in the land are as noble as Islamic religion itself. Perhaps we have now realized how the Prophet – Peace Be Upon Him – benefited from the peace phase that occurred between Treaty of Hudaybiya and the conquest of Makkah after Quraysh broke its covenant with the Prophet Muhammad – Peace Be Upon Him – and His allies, how he secured his state, and how he expanded the Da'wa "Islamic Call" to the religion of Allāh "Islamic Religion". So, He – Peace Be Upon Him – called for embracing Islam outside the Arabian Peninsula, because it is a universal religion, which revealed to all people in all parts of the earth as Almighty said: And We have sent you not but as a mercy for the `Alamin. Perhaps we also realized that the nation, nowadays, is required to follow the path of the Prophet, the leader, Muhammad – Peace Be Upon Him – in exploiting the phases of peace in which they live. Governments should strive to secure the future of their peoples, to protect themselves, to build their civilization, and to secure for the future generations a decent life filled with pride and honor. Governments should possess the power of strategic deterrence in order to deter the interests and ambitions of their enemies and to prevent any attempts against the governments or their societies' dignity.
