المستخلص: اهتم البحث بتفسير ظاهرة المد اللازم الكلمى في القرآن الكريم؛ لأهميتها في ضبط الأداء القرآني من ناحية، وتأثرها بالخصائص الصوتية للغة العربية من ناحية أخرى، وقد كانت الظاهرة محلا لاختلاف وجهات نظر القدماء والمحدثين؛ لتباين موقفهم من حروف المد، إذ يذهب القدماء إلى أنها ساكنة، وأنها مسبوقة بحركة قصيرة من جنسها، ويذهب المحدثون إلى أنها لا توصف بالسكون، وأنها غير مسبوقة بحركة من جنسها؛ لأنها هي حركة ما قبلها، فانعكس هذا الاختلاف على تفسيرهم للظاهرة، وقد اجتهد البحث في تحرير تلك المسألة الخلافية حول مفهوم السكون، وما إذا كانت حروف المد ساكنة أم متحركة، ثم البناء على ذلك في تفسير ظاهرة البحث، مستعينا في تحليل الأمثلة والترجيح بين وجهات النظر بمعطيات برنامج برات Praat الطيفية والتذبذبية، وقد تناول البحث بالإضافة إلى ذلك عددا آخر من القضايا الصوتية التي تفسر جوانب تلك الظاهرة، كخصائص. أصوات المد من حيث البساطة والتركيب، وقابليتها لإطالة مداها الزمني، ودورها في تحقيق الانسجام الصوتي، وتسريع النطق، وتسهيله، وكذلك أثر التضعيف في البنية الصوتية للصامت المضعف، من حيث مداه الزمني، وشدته، وتشكيله للتباين الإيقاعي للفظة المشتملة عليه. وقد اعتمد البحث في دراسة ظاهرته المنهج الوصفي بإجراءاته وضوابطه من جمع، وتصنيف، وتحليل، وتفسير، تطبيقا على مدونة صوتية محددة، هي القرآن الكريم بترتيل الشيخ محمود خليل الحصري، هذا بالإضافة إلى الاستعانة بالمنهج التجريبي في تحليل الخصائص الطيفية والتذبذبية لتمثلات الظاهرة في القرآن الكريم، ورصد قيمها الصوتية الفيزيائية ذات الصلة بموضوع الدراسة وأهدافها

This research involves the explanation of the phenomena of the compulsory lengthening in word of the Qur’an , for its importance in the Qur'anic performance from an aspect, and its affectivity by the phonic features of the Arabic language from another. This phenomena was a subject of the former and the modern scientists’ argument, because of their different points of views that involve the lengthening letters. The former scientists agreed that these letters are consonants which are preceded by a short vowel of its kind, but the modems approved that it can’t be described of being consonants, because they are originally vowels of what precede it. This argument was reflected on their explanation of the phenomena, so the researcher sought for resolving this dispute of the consonant case and whether the lengthening letters are consonants or vowels, and building the theory based on this argument to explain the issue of the research. He also applied the spectral and oscillatory data of the program called ’’Praat" for the analysis of the examples and favoring between the included standpoints. Additionally, the research also deals with a variety of Other phonetic cases of that clarify the perspectives of this phenomena, like the features of the lengthening sounds that includes simplicity, composition, its ability to extent its time span, its role in the attainment of the phonetic harmony and the pronunciation's acceleration and facilitating. These cases also involve the effect of the reduplication on the phonetic construction of the doubled silent letter including its time span, strength, and its vocalization for the accomplishment of the rhythmic diversity of the containing word. The researcher applied the descriptive approach considering all its procedures and regulations that cover collection, classification, analysis, and interpretation. This approach also applied on specific phonetic record which is the Qur'an recited by sheik Mahmoud Khalil Al Hosary. He also resorted to the experimental method to analyze the spectral and oscillatory characteristics of die examples found in the Qur'an, and the allocation of its phonetic physical value related to the study and the contained objectives.
