يتناول هذا البحث دراسة أفعال المقاربة الواردة في القرآن من خلال موضوعات مشتركة كنوع من أنوع التفسير الموضوعي، حيث يهدف إلى الوصول إلى دلالات أفعال المقاربة داخل السياق والموضوعات الجامعة بينها، واعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج الاستقرائي الوصفي لمعالجة قضية الجمع بين أفعال المقاربة داخل إطار واحد، ومن ثم دراستها تركيبا ودلاليا من خلال الاعتماد على كتب النحو والتفسير خصوصا كتاب الكشاف، وأسفرت هذه الدراسة عن مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: أن كاد المثبتة انحصرت داخل موضوعات معينة كانت من أبرزها الأمثال وأفعال الكافرين، وأن كاد المنفية جاءت في أغلب مواطنها في السياق المدني وتحديدا صفات المؤمنين والمنافقين، وأن عسى تفرعت إلى ثلاثة أنوع التامة والناقصة والدائرة بين التمام والنقصان، ولكل نوع من هذه الأنواع دلالات تقوم على التركيب وسياق الآية داخل موضوعات محددة جامعة للأيات ذات المعنى المتقارب، وأن طفق انحصرت في ثلاثة مواضع في إطار قصص الأنبياء في العهد المكي، وإن كان المعنى اللغوي للفعل طفق ثابت إلا أن التركيب مع الجملة يعطي دلالة مستقلة في كل موضع. وكما أوصت الباحثة بالعناية بألوان التفسير الموضوعي في الدراسات النحوية.
