إن هذا البحث جاء لهدف دراسة المسائل العقدية في قصة الخصر عليه السلام المتعلقة بالنبوات؛ وذلك للحاجة الماسة لبيان الصواب وما دلت عليه الأدلة الصحيحة فيما يخص الخضر من مسائل عقدية متعلقة بهذا الباب العظيم؛ وذلك لضرورة الرد بالحجة والبرهان على من يدعى استمرار حياة الخضر وتلقى أمور الدين منه في العصر الحاضر؛ لما يترتب على ذلك من حصول انحراف في ركن عظيم من أركان الإيمان، وهو الإيمان بالأنبياء والرسل. وقد انتظم البحث في مقدمة، وتمهيد، وثلاث مسائل. المسألة الأولى: الخضر ملك أو ولى أو نبي؟ والمسألة الثانية: حكم خروج الخضر عن شريعة موسى عليه السلام، المسألة الثالثة: أقوال الناس في حياة الخضر في العصر الحاضر. وكل مسألة يتم عرض الأقوال فيها، وحجة كل قول، والرد عليها، وبيان الصواب بحسب ما تقتضيه الأدلة. ثم كانت الخاتمة، وفيها أبرز النتائج، وأهمها: أولا: اختلف الناس في كون الخضر ملكا أو نبيا أو وليا على أقوال، والذي يظهر من خلال البحث أنه نبي لتضافر الأدلة على ذلك. ثانيا: بعد دراسة مسألة خروج الخضر عن شريعة موسى عليه السلام تبين أن فيها قولين لأهل السنة، اتضح من خلالها بطلان من قال بخروج الخضر عن شريعة موسى عليه السلام. ثالثا: أما مسألة حياة الخضر في الوقت الحاضر فقد اختلف الناس فيها على قولين: منهم من قال بحياة الخضر في هذا العصر، ومنهم من قال بوفاته والذي ترجحه الأدلة النقلية والعقلية أنه قد مات.

This study aims at studying certain- faith and prophecy- related matters in the story of Khidr (an Islamic saint) in an attempt to demonstrate the truth and show evidence in this regard. Also it attempts to provide a convincing proof against those who still consider Khidr’s religious teachings as the basic for their lives in the present time, leading to deviation from one of thesixth pillars of Emaan (the belief in the existence of all Prophets). Moreover, the present study is divided into four parts: (1) Introduction; (2) Preliminary; (3) three controversial questions, which are as follows: (a) Is Khidr a king, a wali (a saint) or a prophet; (b) the religious opinion of Khidr’s deviation from Moses’ religion; (c) the opinions of the present people of Khidr’s life (whether he is still alive or not). In each of these questions, the different existing opinions are presented along with their respective evidence, and reply and proof are provided against those false opinions; and (٤) the Conclusion, in which the results are shown. Actually, three answers are presented to the three abovementioned questions. First, the question whether Khidr is a king, a wali or a prophet is a controversial issue, yet evidence shows he was a prophet. Second, after investigation, the researcher came out with the conclusion that the idea about Khidr’s deviation from Moses’ religion is untrue. Third, whether Khidr is still a live till now or not is a disputed matter; some say he is still a live while others say he passed away, where the latter opinion being more preferred by logical proof
