الحمد لله رب العالمين، والصلاة والسلام على سيدنا ونبينا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، وعلى آله وأصحابه أجمعين. القرآن كلام الله تعالى خاتم الكتب السماوية، ومعجزته الخالدة، وهاديا للناس بما فيه من الآيات والذكر الحكيم، وتفسيره من أشرف العلوم، ومن أعظم ما يجب على الإنسان المسلم، تدبر آيات هذا الكتاب العزيز، وفهم معانيه، للعمل به، ائتمارا بأمره، وانتهاء عن نهيه، وقد قام كثير من علماء هذه الأمة قديما وحديثا بخدمة هذا الكتاب العظيم، حيث ألفوا في تفسير معانيه، وبيانها، وإيضاحها؛ ليسهل على الأمة العمل به. لذا فقد تناولت في هذا البحث التعريف بأحد أهم كتب التفسير بالمأثور، من كتاب الله تعالى، وسنة نبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم، وأقوال الصحابة الكرام، ومن تبعهم بإحسان. وقد أردت أن أظهر في هذا البحث مكانة كتاب تفسير البغوي، ومكانة مؤلفه، وطريقته في تفسيره. وقد اشتملت خطة البحث على مقدمة، ومطلبين، وخاتمة، المطلب الأول: ترجمة الإمام البغوي، ويشتمل على ثمانية فروع. المطلب الثاني: منهج الإمام البغوي في كتابه، ويشتمل على أربعة فروع. ثم خلصت إلى عظمة مكانة الإمام البغوي وتفسيره، فهو من أفضل التفاسير بالمأثور وأقدمها، ومن أكثرها فائدة لاعتماده الكبير على المصدرين الأساسيين: كتاب الله تعالى وسنة نبيه الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم. وقد تلقاه علماء الأمة بالقبول. أسأل الله تعالى أن يتجاوز عن الزلل والخطأ، وأن يجعل هذا العمل خالصا لوجهه الكريم، نافعا يوم العرض عليه، إنه ولي ذلك والقادر عليه.
All praise is due to Allah. Peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Master and Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him his household and Companions. The Quran is the speech of Allah, Exalted is He, the final divine Scripture, and the everlasting miracle. It guides people to the straight path through its ayaht and wise admonitions. Tafsir of the Quran is one of the noblest sciences. Pondering on and understanding the meanings of the Quran in order to comply with its commandments and avoid its prohibitions are considered great obligations on the Muslim. Many Muslim scholars, in the past and present, have served this great Scripture. They wrote books on the interpretation and clarification of its meanings to facilitate applying its rules for the Muslims. Therefore, in this research, I introduce and study one of the most important commentary on the Quran, whose main sources are the Quran, the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, and the statements of the Companions of the Prophet, and their followers. The purpose of this research is to demonstrate the importance of Tafsir al-Baghawi and the status of its author, and the methodology he used in his book. This research consists of an introduction, two sections, and a conclusion. The first section, which consists of eight points, is a brief biography of Imam al-Baghawi. The second section, which consists of four points, discusses the methodology that Imam al-Baghawi used in his book. Finally, I have concluded the research with highlighting the great status that Imam al-Baghawi and his Tafsir enjoy. His book is considered one of the most excellent, oldest, and beneficial books of Tafsir that depends on transmitted narrations. That is because its main sources are the Quran and the Sunnah of His Prophet, and Muslim scholars have approved it. I pray to Allah that He forgives my blunders and errors, and that He makes this effort sincere for His sake, benefiting me on the Day of Judgment. Indeed, He is All-Able to do so.
