هذا البحث هو دراسة تحليلية في الكشف عن دلالة ألفاظ شعبية منتشرة في المجتمع الجزائري كقولهم: "يا شمس هاك سن الفضة، وأعطيني سن الغزال" وللخوض في ثنايا هذا البحث سيقت إشكالات بمسوقاتها، بقصد الإجابة عنها، منها ما دلالة هذه الألفاظ، وما هي الخلفية الاعتقادية من وراء هذا السلوك؟ وهل هي مرتبطة بأبعاد تاريخية، دينية، فلسفية، أم أنها مبنية على أساس خرافات وأوهام لا أساس لها؟، وكيف يمكن تنزيلها ومحاكمتها بميزان الشرع؟، فبدأ الباحث بتتبع مصطلح الشمس من المعاجم وبيان العلاقة بينها وبين سن الغزال، ثم عرج على المراحل التاريخية التي مرت بها عبادة الشمس، وبعدها قام بجمع الآيات والأحاديث والاستدلال بها لغرض محاكمتها بميزان الشرع، ليصل إلى استنباط مناهج وقواعد عامة يعول عليها في تنزيل الأحكام، وقبل الخاتمة ذكر ملحقا لبعض المعتقدات الموجودة في الأوساط الجزائرية قصد دراستها، والهدف من وراء ذلك كله هو بيان أن هذه الألفاظ من حيث الدلالة على ظاهرها خطيرة، لكن لا بد من مراعاة القصود والنيات.
