المستخلص: This paper seeks to analyze the consequences of falling oil prices, since June 2014, on the Algerian economy, and more particularly on economic fundamentals such as the exchange rate and the budget deficit. Our analysis of this poor economic situation, accompanied by deficits, places our national economy in the face of difficult choices, the government of which has already launched austerity and revision measures for these different policies of subsidies for essential products and for fuel.
