المستخلص: تناولت هذه الدراسة جانبا من جوانب الصراع الفكري الذي دار بين الدولتين المرابطية والموحدية، ومدى ارتباطه بمسألة تأويل نصوص الصفات الخبرية، ذاك أن الموحدين أنكروا على المرابطين التزامهم بمنهج السلف في إثبات الصفات، ووصموهم بالتجسيم لاكتفائهم بالنص الظاهري دون تأويل للمتشابهات. وفي المقابل اعتبروا التأويل وإعمال العقل للوصول إلى مفهوم الألوهية أساس الإيمان، وكما حارب المرابطون علم الكلام فقد شن الموحدون حربا لا هوادة فيها على علم الفروع، وشحدوا جميع الطاقات لتشجيع العلوم التأصيلية وعلى رأسها علم أصول الدين، وهذا البحث يبتغي الكشف عن منطق الدولتين في تعاملهما مع مسألة المتشابه من نصوص الصفات، وتحديد الأسس المنهجية التي حكمت اختياراتهم العقدية

This study set out to explore one of the aspects of the conflict that erupted between the two states: Almowahidin and Almorabitin and its relevance to the issue of interpreting text narratives. The Almowahidin questioned the commitment of the Almorabitin to the approach of the pious predecessors, and raised concerns over their rejection of interpreting verses of the Qur'an and texts of the Hadith that share resemblance. They even accused them of anthropomorphism as they relied on interpreting superficial meaning of texts. In turn, they considered that the interpretation and the realization of the mind to reach the concept of divinity are the basis of faith. While the Almorabitin leveled great criticism against theology, the Almowahidin launched an uncompromising war against branches of Jurisprudence. They spared no effort in encouraging Islamic fundamentalism, particularly the fundamentals of religion. Based on what has been said, this study sets to out examine the approach adopted by the two states in dealing with the issue of interpretation and explore the methodological frameworks that shaped their choices.
