المستخلص: The subject of aesthetics, is one of the most extensive subjects, we specify our research on the aesthetics of cities and urban aesthetics, following an artistic approach, particularly that the city must ensure a real artistic function, and it must create a kind of identity with its inhabitants for an aesthetic of urban life. The present research paper focuses on the study of the presence of Chaabi music in the urban space of Mostaganem city, and what it is the associative engagement that is creates between the Chaabi as an art and the Algerian society and the impact it has on the aesthetics of the city. The aim is to position the image of Mostaganem city with this musical genre (Chaabi).

L’esthétique de la ville est l’un des sujets les plus vastes, on précise notre corpus d’études sur l’esthétique des villes et l’esthétique urbaine, à travers une démarche de planification urbaine basée sur l’art, notamment que la ville doit assurer une véritable fonction artistique, et elle doit créer une sorte d’identité avec ses habitants pour une esthétique de la vie urbaine. Notre recherche s’intéresse à la présence de la musique Chaabi dans l’espace urbain à Mostaganem, et quel est l’engagement associatif qui est crée entre le Chaabi comme art et entre les citadines pour porter et produire le beau dans la ville. Ensuite on étudie l’image de la ville de Mostaganem dans ce genre de musique (Chaabi) à travers quelques mécanismes.
