المستخلص: This paper aims to analyze and diagnose the financial situation and financial balance of the national pension fund in Algeria. To this end we have briefly presented the social security system and then the pension system. We concluded with a study and analysis of the financial situation over a period of 10 years (2008 -2018) of expenditure, receipts, and retired population. After study and analysis we were able to diagnose the source of the financing problem of the national pension fund and we finally tried to provide sustainable solutions for financial sustainability and limit the intervention of the state to pay off debts of the national pension fund.

Ce papier, a pour objectif d’analyser et de diagnostiquer la situation financière et l’équilibre financier de la caisse national de retraite en Algérie. A cet effet nous avons présenté brièvement le système de sécurité sociale puis le système de retraite. Nous avons conclu avec une étude et analyse de la situation financière sur une période de 10 ans soit 2008-2018 des dépenses, recettes, et de la population retraitée. Apres étude et analyse nous avons pu diagnostiquer la source du problème de financement de la caisse national de retraite et nous avons à la fin tenté d’apporter des solutions durables pour la pérennité financière et de limiter l’intervention de l’état pour éponger les dettes de la caisse national de retraite.
